Terms of Service for Officer Jenny Bot

What is Officer Jenny?

Officer Jenny is a verification bot for private Discord communities. We check if users are members of servers on our blacklist (botting/reselling communities and servers that break our rules) and manage access accordingly.

Important: This bot is invite-only and used in private Discord servers. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke access at any time, for any reason.

By Using This Bot, You Agree To:

Basic Rules

Be at least 13 years old (Discord's requirement)
Have a valid Discord account in good standing
Comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
Follow the rules of the Discord server(s) where you're using Officer Jenny
Respect rate limits (3 verification attempts per 24 hours)
Provide accurate information during verification

What NOT to Do

Attempt to bypass, manipulate, or abuse the verification system
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with Officer Jenny
Create multiple accounts to circumvent detentions or queue positions
Spam verification attempts or abuse the system
Share or resell trial or premium access

If you break these rules: We can immediately remove your access, cancel Premium subscriptions, and ban you from using the bot. Your statutory rights are not affected.

How Verification Works

1. You click "Verify with Officer Jenny" in Discord 2. You authorise us to check your Discord server list via OAuth 3. We compare your servers against our blacklist 4. You get a result: - Verified - No blacklisted servers found - Detained - You're in one or more blacklisted servers (you can appeal or re-verify after leaving them) - Queued - Verified, but the server is at capacity

Blacklist Criteria: Servers are blacklisted for botting, reselling, breaking our server rules, or other harmful activities.

Privacy: We only store blacklist matches, not your full server list. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Rate Limits: 3 verification attempts per 24 hours (tracked via hashed IP address for your privacy).

Queue System

If a server is at capacity:

Queue Position - You're added to a first-come, first-served queue
Notifications - You'll get a DM when you reach position #1
Auto-Promotion - When a slot opens, the next verified user gets promoted automatically
Premium/Trial - You can optionally pay for Premium or use a free 24-hour trial to skip the queue

Rules:

One queue position per person
Leaving the server removes you from the queue (can't be restored)
No queue jumping or manipulation

Premium Subscriptions (via Stripe)

Premium subscriptions let you skip the queue and get immediate access.

How it Works:

Monthly subscription processed by Stripe
24-hour free trial before first charge
Cancel anytime via Stripe Customer Portal
Auto-cancels if you get promoted from queue to Free role
Automatically cancelled if you are banned from the server

Stripe's Terms Apply: By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Stripe's Privacy Policy. We don't handle payment data - Stripe does.

Refunds & Cancellations: You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Subscription payments are non-refundable. If you are banned for violating server rules, your subscription will be automatically cancelled and no refund will be issued. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Trial Access

Duration: 24 hours of full access
Limit: One trial per user, per server, ever
After Trial: You're moved back to Queued role if server is still full
No Extensions: Trials can't be repeated or extended

Detention & Appeals

Why You Might Be Detained:

You're a member of a blacklisted server (botting, reselling, rule-breaking communities)

How to Appeal: 1. Leave the blacklisted server(s) if you're still in them 2. Use the detention ticket created for you in Discord 3. Click "Re-verify" to attempt verification again 4. Contact server staff if you think this is a false positive (e.g., you accidentally joined)

Privacy Note: We don't reveal which specific servers are on our blacklist to regular users. Server staff can see matched servers in detention tickets.

Data & Privacy

We collect minimal data:

Discord User ID and server ID
Blacklist matches (not your full server list)
Hashed IP addresses (for rate limiting)
Verification timestamps

Data Retention:

Verification logs: 90 days (auto-delete)
Cooldowns: 24 hours (auto-delete)
Premium subscription data: Until cancelled, expired, or banned

Third-Party Services

We use:

Discord - For OAuth and bot functionality (Discord Privacy Policy)
Stripe - For Premium payments (Stripe Privacy Policy)

You're also subject to their terms and policies when using those services. See our Privacy Policy for detailed information about data storage and processing.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes:

We'll update the "Last Updated" date above
We'll post an announcement in Discord servers using the bot

Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You can stop using the bot anytime by:

Leaving Discord servers where it's installed
Cancelling Premium via Stripe
Requesting data deletion from a server administrator

We can terminate your access anytime if you:

Violate these Terms
Abuse the verification system
Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
Break Discord's Terms of Service
Are banned from a server (Premium subscription will be automatically cancelled)
For any other reason (it's a private community)

No Guarantees

Officer Jenny is provided "AS IS" with no warranties.

We don't guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free operation
100% accuracy of blacklist or verification results
That queues will move at a specific rate
That Premium access will always be available

Use at your own risk. We're not liable for:

False positives or incorrect detentions
Queue delays or lost positions
Premium subscription issues (handled by Stripe)
Discord or Stripe service disruptions
Any indirect or consequential damages

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you have a dispute, please contact a server administrator first to try to resolve it informally.

BY USING OFFICER JENNY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS.

Summary: Use the bot fairly, don't abuse it, Premium is handled by Stripe (their terms apply), we can remove your access for breaking rules, and we're not liable for issues. We're running a private community with entry requirements - access is a privilege, not a right.
